Current Positions and Performance Experience:
Music Director, Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra (2007-Present)
Since being named Music Director of the SVSO Mr. Milioto has lead concerts featuring major symphonic an operatic works, and collaborated with several soloists.
Music Director, Chicago Cultural Center Summer Opera (2002-Present)
Mr. Milioto has conducted nine operatic productions at the Cultural Center since 2002 including Candide, The Magic Flute, Djamileh and The Love for Three Oranges.
Principal Conductor, Highland Park Strings (2007-Present)
As assistant conductor, and now principal conductor, Mr. Milioto has lead many HPS concerts in the Highland Park area including the annual Gala Concert in Bennett-Gordon Hall at Ravinia. He has collaborated with such soloists as Janos Starker, David Shifrin,
Eugene Izotov, Robert Chen, Jennifer Gunn, Ilya Kaler, Amit Peled, Alon Goldstien,
and Matan Porat.
Co-Founder/Conductor, New Millennium Orchestra of Chicago
(2005-Present)
Since Co-Founding the NMO in 2005 the ensembles concerts have spanned the Chicago area and included traditional and non-traditional repertoire. Special guests have included Katinka Kleijn and Mathieu Dufour of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Assistant Conductor and Rehearsal Pianist, Ravinia Festival (2004-Present)
Mr. Milioto has had the priviledge of being a featured accompanist and assistant conductor at the Ravinia Festival. Projects have included Le Nozze di Figaro with Daniel Barenboim as well as Otello, Verdi's Requiem, Madama Butterfly, Don Giovanni, and Abduction from the Seraglio with Music Director James Conlon.
Guest Conductor, Elgin Opera (2006-Present)
Productions with E.O have included La Traviata, Madama Butterfly, and L'Elisir D'Amore
Guest Conductor, Opera on the James (2007-Present)
Since joining the OOTJ family in Lynchburg, VA Mr. Milioto has lead productions of Romeo et Juliette, and La Boheme. He returns this season to conduct La Traviata and
Don Giovanni.
